Requirements of the Role:
  • The applicant would be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of heavy transport equipment.
  • Must have knowledge of the Heavy hauling & over dimensional transportation industry.
  • Must have Knowledge with coordination of transporting construction equipment.
  • Must have experience and knowledge with all types of construction equipment, loaders, dozers, excavators, scrapers, etc.
  • Must have experienced knowledge of lowboy, RGN type equipment.
  • Knowledge of ordering over dimensional permits is a plus.
  • Must work with Dispatch Manager and Project Management Team to establish efficient scheduling and logistical placement of drivers.
  • Be willing to adapt to changing conditions and schedule updates with projects.
  • Good phone etiquette and customer service while answering phone calls to customers and making calls.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, a problem solver and capable of retaining information
  • Must be capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks under time constraints, changing priorities, as necessary.
  • Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff, vendors, clients, and others.
